IS THERE A MINIMUM GIFT AMOUNT?

No! FLY DAY is all about participation. Every gift of every size lifts up the Latin Fund.

WHAT IF I HAVE ALREADY MADE A GIFT THIS YEAR? 

Thank you! Your commitment to the Latin Fund is a strong statement that you believe in the power of a Charlotte Latin education. Your additional FLY DAY gift will count toward our goal of 1,600 FLY DAY donors. We hope you’ll consider showing your FLY DAY support!

CAN ANYONE GIVE TO FLY DAY?

Yes! The more the merrier. This year, we have a goal of 1,600 unique FLY DAY donors. We need our entire Latin community to join in the spirit of FLY DAY and make a gift. 

MAY I GIVE MORE THAN ONE TIME TODAY? 

You may give as many times as you wish, but know that we are tracking by household for FLY DAY grade level challenges. So you might choose to make one FLY DAY gift – and really make it count!

CAN I HONOR LATIN’S AMAZING FACULTY OR STAFF? WHAT IF I CAN’T PICK JUST ONE?

Yes! For every $25 you give, you can send your favorite teacher, coach, bus driver, or staff member a personalized note. Can’t pick a favorite?  $25 = 1 honoree, so you can make your gift a multiple of $25 and include all honorees on one giving form. We will be hand delivering notes all day on FLY DAY. 

WHAT IS THE PARENT PARTICIPATION CHALLENGE?

The parent participation challenge is back! The competition is by division: the grade with the highest level of FLY DAY parent participation in each division will win a prize. Remember that we track by family, not by gift, so you only need to give one FLY DAY gift to count. Have kids in multiple grades? Your one FLY DAY gift counts for them all.

WHAT IS THE ALUMNI CLASS CHALLENGE?

Help secure bragging rights for your class by making your FLY DAY gift. We’ll be tracking alumni participation all day to see which graduating class is soaring above the rest.

WHERE DOES MY FLY DAY GIFT GO? 

FLY DAY gifts support the Latin Fund, Charlotte Latin's top fundraising priority. Your gift to the Latin Fund supports areas of need not covered by tuition and provides students, faculty, and staff with the resources and opportunities they need to soar.
